We took a trip to Lubbock last week. It was a quick trip - to the Science Spectrum, lunch at yummy Blue Sky Burger, and a trip to campus. Cody made sure everyone got new Tech shirts, to make up for all the KU shirts he had to buy everyone earlier in the summer. This was Reese's map she drew for us.
Marin decided to make up a "finding" game. It was very cute - things like pumpjacks and Target. She made a non-reader, picture version for Reese.
After I graduated, we got married, and Cody still had one more semester. For that semester, I worked in the President's office. Super cush-y job that paid almost nothing, but it was great because I got to see Cody all the time - even sent him inner campus mail to the ME building marked "Private, from the office of the president". I loved doing that. Anywho, this bench is just outside the President's office - he used to sit here and wait for me :-)
We were walking thru the UC and Reese spotted these and began yelling "TEXAS TECH CUBBIES!!!!!" She insisted I take her picture w/ them.
