Reese turned 2 1/2 today. She has decided (much to my dismay) that orange is her favorite color. Not sure how she came up with that one, but she is adamant about it. So, for her small half b-day celebration she had orange plates, an orange shirt (remember that one, Shelley?!?!?), and orange balloons on her cake. It is so funny to have our oldest child and youngest child be 4 years and 12 days apart - it has always been interesting to see them in many of the same clothes at the same time of year - and for them to be so similar in so many ways. Anyway, we went back and looked at pictures of the other 2 girls on their 2 1/2 birthdays, so I'm going to post those pictures also. We were still in Lawrence when Marin was 2 - seems like a long time ago in many ways. (According to what I wrote in her book, she had just had a haircut that day - seems that we cut quite a bit off, and she still had those great little curls)
And, yes, Reese just LOOKS serious in the picture - she was trying her best not to laugh at all of us....stubborn little child.
