Marin "officially" started taking piano lessons this week. She is taking from my former piano teacher - which is so hilarious to me. I had planned to teach her myself, but w/ the part time homeschooling, and everything else, it just kept getting put on the back burner. So, I knew that paying for it would make me be accountable!! She takes twice a month, and then I'm able to help her w/ practicing and filling in w/ a "mini" lesson on the off weeks. She is enjoying it - especially when I play the little "teacher duet" part that is included w/ most of her songs. It is fun for me to get to see her learn about something that was so much a part of my life for 16 years.
AND....our neighbors are moving to a house w/ no yard, so they gave us their trampoline. We'll see how it goes, but for now the girls love it. Cody and I think that soon it will be used less for jumping and more as a great location for tea parties and other pretend games.

Trampolines are great fun to put a sprinkler under on hot days and jump while the water is shooting up from under the trampoline. I bet the girls will have a blast with that.
