Chartreuse and Pinkalicious

Today was Bennett's 5th Birthday party! Her actual b-day is next week, but we had her party today at a jumper place in town. We chose a Wednesday morning because the jumper place is usually empty at that time, and it was today - we had the entire place to ourselves - it was great! Chartreuse and Pinkalicious was a theme she picked herself - she got stuck on chartreuse months ago, and then decided to add pink to make it even cuter :) it turned out really well - and very cute. the tutu's were the party favors - never again will I make 14 tutu's....

Before I forget- one of the highlights of today....at the end of the jumping party I looked over at Marin and she had blood pouring out of her mouth....not necessarily an uncommon occurrence for this child. Anyway, turns out she somehow knocked out BOTH of her top 2 teeth. One of them was very loose, but the other one wasn't really all that loose. Her bottom 2 teeth are just beginning to grow in, so w/ the 2 up top gone and the other one that got knocked into her gum as a baby, she really has a HUGE gap w/ no teeth!! It is sooooooo cute to hear her little lisp now when she talks!

I think the last count I had was 16 kids - it was very fun to see Bennett have her own set of friends separate from her big sister's friends.

This cake was all Bennett's idea - I just made it according to her specifications. The great thing about her is that she is soooooooo grateful and gets soooooo excited about every little detail of days like today.

Three sisters - they really wore themselves out today w/ all the jumping and running

We gave Bennett her present early today...she was very confident she was getting her, but she had been waiting so long! So...the much anticipated American Girl (she is the girl of the year this year and her name is Chrissa) finally made it home! Bennett just adores her - has been combing her hair, changing her clothes, etc. She tells us that we can call her Chris for short. Bennett chose her because she has similar hair and blue eyes like her.
