I had the opportunity to go to Lubbock and meet up w/ some friends from college this past weekend. It was such a great getaway. Saturday night there was a reunion of sorts w/ some other people from the church we attended when we were at Tech. So, we were able to see Russ and Saralyn - so thankful for them. We stayed both nights w/ Dianna's grandmother - Mimi. I was completely blown away by how much she reminded me of my Granddot. I almost couldn't get over it. I have never met anyone else who reminded me that much of her (except for my mom, of course.) Anyway, that was a random, sweet surprise for me. We did lots of eating out, lots of shopping, lots of laughing, and LOTS of going to Sonic. She shall remain nameless, but one of my friends is offically more addicted to Sonic than I am....and that is saying something :-)
