Bennett started piano a few weeks ago. Since piano lessons are so insanely expensive, the girls are alternating weeks that they take. It is working well so far. It also kind of helps w/ having an extra week to practice, since we definitely don't get piano practicing in every single night....
Marin got her ears pierced. She was so very sweet about it. Her daddy was so very sad about it. Very long story. But, very glad we got it done.
We celebrated National Alpaca Weekend. Help me. Who has ever heard of such a thing!?!?! It was very fun, though. We pass these alpacas every school day, so it was very fun for the girls to get to see them and touch them.
Reese on school picture day. I was trying to get her to practice smiling. Total waste of time. A friend of mine helped w/ the pictures and both she and Reese's teacher apologized for not being able to get her to smile. That was nice of them. I tried to reassure them that obstinance is just one of her strongest personality traits. Lucky for us.
Bennett turned 6.5 last week. We give the girls one small gift for their half birthdays. Bennett was so extra thankful for hers....she gets kind of tired of Marin and Reese having back to back birthdays and her birthday not being for several more months.
