Really, Really Random

Every year we try to talk ourselves into buying a playscape for the backyard. And, every year we decide that we don't want to fork over hundreds of dollars for said playscape. Well, we figured it was now or never. So, this year we gave in. And, as soon as we manage to assemble over 800 pieces, I'm sure we'll be very glad we got it. Today's task was to label all the pieces of wood. So, we pulled out some sidewalk chalk and put the girls to work.

Bennett's All about Me poster for school

Can't really explain this one. I was at a meeting at the girls' school when this happened. They often talk Cody into mock weddings, crazy dancing while he plays the guitar, hide and seek, and other things, but I think he got off easy this particular night - he said they occupied themselves the entire time w/ this whole deal - they were some sort of band.

Marin made a fruit - or shall I say "froot" stand. In her defense, digraph "oo" (or is it a combination or a dipthong - I can't remember right this second) does make the "ew" sound as in "tooth".

The girl who can handle pain better than anyone I know finally lost her first tooth. The tooth fairy had to make a late night trip to the ATM for that one. The next day, Cody took her to the dollar section at Target to spend her cash - she treasures those hilarious things she got.
