Ready for February to end. Reese has had croup - as always in February. This time was a bit more dramatic (read: Scary) than normal. Just made it past that and then had a slab leak - we have been without water in our house for the past FOUR DAYS. Finally got it fixed this afternoon. Reese's preschool called me today and said she had gotten poked in the eye by another kid (on accident) a few hours before they called me, but that it still looked bad and that she was complaining about it. So, I went to get her and really thought it should have looked better than it did, considering it had happened about 3 hours earlier. So, I ran her over to our pede and she looked at it w/ this funky uv light and could see multiple scratches in it. So, eyedrops for the next 7 days - she gave her the eyepatch for dramatic effect :-)
On a brighter note, today is Marin's half birthday! Love that child. Today also marks our 4 year anniversary of moving to Midland....I well remember flying w/ a 3 year old, 23 month old, and pregnant self....crying most of the way! God has done some amazing things over the past four years.
