Sea World and Thanksgiving!!!

Thanksgiving!

On the Sunday before Thanksgiving, we took the girls to San Antonio. We went to Sea World about 2.5 years ago - and they still talk about it. So, we decided it would be fun to go back. It was a totally different experience to be there w/ a 7,5, and 3 year old as opposed to a 4,barely 3, and 7 month old like last time. They loved it and Cody and I loved having time away from routines and schedules (and cooking and laundry and taxi service) and just being able to enjoy time together as a family.

Waiting for Sea World to open - we were the first ones there that day!

All three girls fed the dolphins this year - it was super cute.

A 4-D version (abbreviated) of Polar Express. Sea World was decorated for Christmas and all the shows had been changed up to have a Christmas theme to them - that was super fun.

The girls - especially Marin - love the sea lion show - the walrus at the end cracks them up.

A three year old's dream come true.....all her Sesame Street characters singing Christmas carols together.

Shamu...or one of his lookalikes.

They mostly took turns riding in pairs in the stroller, but after 7 hours, they were pretty tired. The weather was perfect.

The next day we went to the San Antonio Zoo. It was a little bit chilly, but not bad - but it was enough to keep the crowds away, thankfully. We ended up in the Lorikeet area - the other girls (and me) had no interest in feeding them, but Marin loved it. She and Cody stayed in there quite awhile. At one point Cody had 5 birds on him - the girls thought it was hilarious.
