Halloween

Thursday, the 30th. Reese had a costume parade at school. She was so, so excited to be Belle. For some reason, it is my favorite of the princess costumes we own.

Word Girl. She cracks us up. She picked this months ago and has been so excited about it. She loves the show and she loved being Word Girl. The helmet caused fits around here. We tried to make it out of a big styrofoam ball - Cody carved it out w/ a drill attachment. Anyway, it was going to work, but we could never get the fabric to get around it and look good - it was bunchy and a mess. So, after spending MUCH money on a helmet that didn't work out, she ended up using a knit hat that I found in the dollar section at Target. Go figure.

Truck or treating w/ my parents. The girls got to dress up three nights in a row - that was very fun. After the trunk or treating we went back to my parents' neighborhood to trick or treat. I think the girls enjoy handing out the candy as much as going door to door themselves.
