The time finally came for Reese's pacifier party. We've had similar "parties" for all three of them now - pacifier one for Marin and a sucker party for Bennett when she had her thumb guard removed. We've been talking about it w/ her and she seemed totally on board until last night....we talked about how she would throw her pacifiers away and in return she would get a new scooter - (she's been coveting Bennett's since Christmas). She even practiced by throwing her pacifier across the room. Then, we asked her what she would do when she didn't have a pacifier anymore and she said she would "go to the trash" and "get it". yikes.
Anyway, she had fun eating her cookies and riding her scooter today. Tonight went pretty well - we weren't really that worried about the GOING to sleep, it is the 2am cry for us that we are dreading - when she is trying to find her pacifier and can't. Here are some pictures....
