Leading up to Christmas

Last weekend we had the traditional "Cookie Night" with my parents. My Aunt and Uncle were in town, so they were with us also. As usual, the girls had a great time and the cookies were super yummy.

Bennett still has eyeliner on one eye because this was right after the Sunday performance of The Nutcracker...

Our little mouse. I made Bennett wait until 1st Grade to audition for The Nutcracker. I knew the schedule would be kind of crazy, and I wanted her to be a bit older and have more stamina. So, this year was her first year and she was a mouse. She absolutely loved it. I was so grateful for that. Really the rehearsal schedule wasn't that bad until the actual weekend of the performance. But, she was always super excited to get there and was thrilled to be on stage.

I am glad to be done w/ the mouse nose and mouse whiskers!!!!

Reese was an angel in her play in preschool. Not a super happy one.

the angel with the pink bow

We went w/ the Davenports to the Children's museum. I don't know why I didn't take a picture of all of them by all the beautiful Christmas trees in the museum....

ah....fun w/ stickers

Last night we went to our church's hayride/kettle corn/hot chocolate thing that we go to every year. This year Reese and Cody had to get off in the middle of the hayride because she had to go to the bathroom and Cody's allergies (grass on the ride) were going crazy. That was the benefit of living on the hayride route
:-)
anyway - every year we come home and have s'mores after the hayride. I bought Marin some s'more earrings a few weeks ago and she has been so excited to wear them while eating a s'more....well, her dream came true last night

Today before church.
