We made a LAST minute decision last thursday night to take the girls to Lubbock on Friday. We had a great time - took them to the Science Spectrum, saw an imax movie, had lunch w/ some friends, and then to campus. It is always weird to me to be back on campus w/ our children......anyway. We were trying to convert Bennett - she was born in Lawrence, Kansas - where KU is - and she is always "Waving the wheat" as they do there. Our most recent, favorite Bennett story is from a few weeks ago when she told Cody that KU was "more holier" than Tech because KU puts their hands in the air like they are celebrating Jesus. Interesting observation, especially considering the reputations of both schools....
