Cookie night is an annual tradition at my parents' house. We've used this recipe and had this same basic scenario of flour everywhere, icing, Christmas cookie cutters, etc. my entire life. It is so fun to watch the girls enjoy this time w/ my parents now. Really, the only change over the years is that I don't eat the raw cookie dough anymore...nor do I allow the girls to :-)
